Teenage Taste

“One of the very nicest things about life is the way we must regularly stop whatever it is we are doing and devote our attention to eating.”

Katipunan Diner is located at the Bonifacio Street Guino-o Building, Davao City.

The restaurant is super close to Renaissance and has awesome food. I had the Red Snapper (Full Fish) and it was delicious. My friend had the ribs and it was great. The chocolate cake was ok, it was good for my sweet tooth, but nothing to right home about. Also the best part is the view, it's on top of the fort with a great view of the sunset, make a reservation around that time and just enjoy the breeze. Everything was tasty and our server was pleasant . Service was quick and hostess seated us exactly where we wanted to sit.

Humba is a common dish found on most tables during special occasions and during town fiestas. If you want to try some humba, try to eat at the Katipunan Diner, eat it with some cheese on top. I assure you that it is a very tasty combination the richness, luxurious flavors of the humba mixes very well with the mellow yumminess  of the cheese. The sweetness from the sugar and the sourness from the vinegar make for an interesting contrast in taste. This one is highly recommended!

Mr. Avocado is the first avocado milkshake stall at Alexandra Village Food Centre. The stall has a long history spanning 18 years, and used to call itself Cathay. Its best-selling avocado shake has spawned several copycats at the food centre, although nothing beats the original. The avocado shake here is a blended mixture of the fruit, fresh milk and evaporated milk. The result is a sweet and creamy mixture that is extremely rich and good and makes a healthy after-meal dessert. You feel that you really get your moneys worth, especially since avocado is a pricey fruit.
It was the best chocolate milkshake and chocolate frappe with delicious chocolate donates!

I LIKE THIS PLACE AND THIS PEOPLE! THANKS A LOT!

Our next stop is at the Red Corner Burger cafe. The food was really good, the place is nice and fun seeing those famous boxers faces and the food was named after them. We ordered Golden boy, it was named from Oscar dela Heya. It has a cheese sauce and sautéed mushroom. We also ordered Executioner, it was named from Bernard Hopkins. It has a cheese sauce and homemade beef bacon. We also ordered french fries and it was golden and crispy in the outside, tender yet firm on the inside. The food and service were both exceptional.
